“Room was really spacious and quiet, with an enormous comfy bed. Good selection of teas in the room. Bicycles were locked away. Really good selection for cooked breakfast. The only thing we didn't like was that the shower was in the bath but this didn't detract from the rest of the stay and we would definitely stay here again.”

“A nice stay , good location”

“Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. ”

“We had a very warm informative welcome. The room was at the back which helped it be quieter when the private parties could be loud when they were on in the function room. It looks as if some updating is happening and needs new window frames and closers. The bed was comfy. Hospitality tray was great. In the bar the staff were great. You were served quickly and they kept the bar tidy. They were very friendly. We had bar sharing plate snack which was amazing. We didn’t have breakfast as not……

“Room was lovely and cosy, clean and did the job for our two day stay. TV was a bit hit or miss. Only one small mirror in bathroom but no electric socket near the bathroom for drying or straighening hair, mirror in actual bedroom would have been very beneficial.”
