“While this house is cozy and warm we did run into a few issues. First, this house is directly off of Hwy 6 which is a major 2 lane highway. After a couple of days the sounds of semi's became white noise but I would have preferred peace and quiet. “I was under the impression that we would have an in suite bathroom, but that was not the case. A minor inconvenience. The room was comfortable, with a nice view of the river. Breakfast was simple, but if you want a hot breakfast, there is a cafe called The Roost right next door. It was a nice, relaxing weekend. “Overall it was a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the hot tub. The house was visually pleasing. We didn’t find any of the board games that were boasted about. There were dishes in the dishwasher, towels in the dryer when we arrived that I ended up putting away. The downstairs mattresses really could use being replaced. “The overall impression of this property was positive. The place was very clean and very comfortable for our party of 6 and we stayed only one night. On the negative side, whomever ran the dishwasher last didn't finish the cycle, and water pooled inside leaving a nasty stench for us when we opened it.
