“Stayed here for the Fourth of July and the experience did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a bigger room and didn’t have any issues with extending our stay by a day. The staff were super nice and professional and the complimentary bottle of wine was a fun way to end the trip. The hotel is also just a few hundred feet from the Gondola, which made it easy to get to/from the town of Telluride. It would be nice if the dining area was opened up to the patio so people could sit outside for……

“We’ve stayed at The Peaks on several occasions, and sadly, this trip was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we checked in, the experience was poor. The front desk employee was curt and provided virtually no information about the hotel or amenities. We weren’t told that the pool was under construction, the waterslide was closed, the game room was closed, or that the restaurant wasn’t open. We weren’t given the Wi-Fi password, told where to find breakfast or what the coffee shop offered,……

“Felt similar to staying in a dorm room. No decorations hardly. Blank slate room. Bathroom heater didn’t work. Cob webs in corners. Hot water intermittent. Front desk was very nice though. ”

“The hotel is perfectly situated next to the gondola and the staff are super helpful. Hotel room was huge and clean. They service the rooms daily and everything is in walking distance, but not right where the hustle and bustle is.The parking is a little funky, but if you buy parking, you can park underground, in the garage. We had an F150, so it was tight, but doable. Fabulous place to stay. We were there is Spring, but I can only imagine it's even better in the winter. There is a restaurant on……

“This is a 1898 hotel in the San Juan mountains old mining country. Most unique hotel we have ever stayed in the US, England, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico. “This property's management is obviously more concerned about making a buck that providing any sort of customer service. Due to a wildfire in the area, I called the day of our check-in to request a cancellation or rebook to a different date. The highway leading into Ouray was closed and law enforcement was urging people to stay away. I was told that as I booked through Expedia it was impossible to change the reservation and that they had a clear policy of no refund less than 14 days out. I……
