「We had an excellent stay at Villa Orquidea and still had more places on our list after a week in Merida. Our hosts Griselda, Sonia & Denise were very helpful with ideas for restaurants, things to see and private drivers. There are so many good restaurants! Breakfast was delightful including home-made banana bread, though we mostly ate light. 」

「We originally booked a room with one bed, but upon arrival we found it was a corner room and felt dark and small, with a small bed. We chose to pay for an upgrade to a double bed room, which was much larger and brighter. The arched design feature is very interesting and adds charm to the room.」

Our room, Los DosToros on the second floor, was large with a sitting area and storage. There is a towel rack in the bathroom, not just hooks, so your towels can actually dry.
