“Combined 2 Days in Dornoch Castle Hotel with 5 Days at Cottage in Tain after the wedding. The cottage has been modernised but still has some original features. It is spacious, comfortable & well equipped with everything you could possibly need. If you enjoy baking, utensils are all there, including a Food Mixer. “A very nice place to stay. We didn't have a car, and the path by the nature reserve (starts behind the house) is a pleasant walk to the center center.”

“The cottage was perfect for our first couple of nights in Scotland. We explored sights in the highlands and came home each day to our cozy abode. We didn’t get a chance to try the awesome wood stove/cook top but it was a beautiful backdrop. Beds were comfy, shower had great pressure and beautiful grounds to explore or just look at. Check out Tarvie, just up the road, for your breakfast coffee, hot rolls and baked goods - their tablet is the best!”
