"Our first room was filthy- the ‘cleaning rag’ was even left in the bathroom which turned out to be a dirty pillow case. Was moved to a different room and was told we would have that room for the remainder of our stay. However, was told the next morning we had to move and was left without a room for the day until after 3pm. The put up bed for my 7 year old was not in the room. Took us telling reception 3 times and it was eventually brought to the room at 8:30pm. Very outdated rooms and not as expected. Breakfast also not worth the money. Reception staff unhelpful."

"We didn't get the breakfast, because it was all days or none. The room was great. I would return. The staff was nice and took care of all our needs. It felt like home."

"Fantastic stay here with my partner for his birthday. We received a free upgrade due to it being his birthday and had access to the VIP area which was a lovely surprise. Great spa facilities (pool, sauna and steam room). Lovely breakfast with a great selection! Had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend. "

"I have stayed in this hotel three times now. The first stay was beyond excellent, the second not so much. But this third time was pretty good once I'd managed to check in (they weren't having an early check-in, beyond giving me an accessible room which I didn't need or something in the basement), but I was pretty happy with where they finally put me as it was very quiet and I slept well. The breakfast was good and I appreciated the free drink. If I run London next year then I will probably want to return for a fourth time."

"Always get what I need at CitizenM Tower of London. Friendly staff, a comfortable bed a d THAT view. Two steps from the tube and hence from anywhere in London, I can't wait for my next excuse to stay with the team."

"Hostels are very different from hotels apparently. Not only is nothing for drinks in the room, there is not even a glass for water. Dog barking hours into the night. Poor quality food with little vegetarian options. No room service."
