「The location was amazing! Easy walk into town and not too much traffic on the road. Aberfoyle is a great town with several food options and access to a lot of activities. There is a grocery store within walking distance too. The apartment itself was nice with basic amenities. I would have given it 5 stars if it was better stocked. We had no real complaints and recommended this as a nice place to stay.」

「Margo's home was delightful! Really wish we'd had more time to spend there. Beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed and welcoming! One of our top private rental stays ever. We felt very at home and well cared for by the host, who communicated SO very well from the initial booking. We felt comfortable with no anxiety about getting there or getting in or whatever. It is a bit out from downtown EDB but public bus stops were close by. Well worth the extra travel time in and out of the tourist area....

Broken blinds in some rooms. Stale smell from soft furnishings. Some main lights did not work or lamps missing bulbs. Many other issues. Report sent to Sykes Cottages and awaiting response. Only stayed because a family emergency and venue nearby or would have left.」
