「Had an excellent stay here for one week in July 2025. All appliances working well, excellent queen bed to sleep in and clean bathroom. Owner was very responsive and helpful for any queries. Flooring could be improved in some areas. Neighborhood is not exactly posh but I felt comfortable soon after I arrived. 」

「Enjoyed our stay at Slumber village! Close to restaurants, easy to find, off street parking, and inside, towels fluffy, heater worked well for those cold Alaska nights, bed comfortable. We didn’t cook so cannot comment on oven or stovetop. Tall dining table with stools in front room. Had a request and on site host able to respond promptly. Even forgot an item and host sent it by mail back to my home when meet up timing didn’t work for both parties! I would rent here again. 」

「I was pleasantly impressed. It didn't look like a lot from the outside. Never judge a book by its cover!」

「Yes, this is the place to enjoy your stay around Anchorage. Close to everything without the noise. Only advice is to make sure you have a SUV or something with good clearance as roads leading to property are more rural.」

「The property is older in a quiet residential neighborhood. The kitchen was fully-equipped, as was the laundry room. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. Our contact person, Mike Davis, was super responsive and personable whenever we called with a question. 」

「Super nice place」

「Our family loved staying at Pam and Lee’s beautiful and cozy home. The home is extremely well equipped and they had plenty of additional touches including cookies waiting for you when you arrive. Lee even suggested where we could spot a moose and sure enough, there it was with its calf. If I’m ever back in Anchorage, I will make sure to stay with them again. Excellent. 」

「We had a really lovely stay at this little yellow house. Very comfortable for our family of six, which included one kid, three grandparents and two parents. Very centrally located to everything you need to get to in Anchorage. We rented a car for longer excursions but if you just want to stay in the city, you can uber just about everywhere for less than $15. We also walked to downtown a few times for museums. The host was super responsive, property was clean and quiet. House was well appointed...
