The Marigny is a great neighborhood and you can easily walk to Frenchman Street, the French Quarter, and many other things. We easily found restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. ”

The location was walkable to the quarter and the street car line, and there are great restaurants in the neighborhood and Bywater. No concerns for safety, regardless of time of day. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“We just stayed here on a Friday night before moving into the Quarter. The neatest thing about Royal Frenchmen is the music they have in the lobby every night. There’s only room for 20-30 people, so you’re right up on the performers, and there are 6-8 other places to listen to music on Frenchmen within 2-3 blocks if you prefer. There’s a nice bar in the room Nextdoor. The downside is that the music continues until midnight or 1:00 am on the weekend if you go to bed early. Also the staff are……
