“This is the second time I have stayed here. And, I plan to stay here again later this year and every year from now on as long as it is available. It is in a great location(a block and a half from Whaleys dive bar/restaurant). As I said in an earlier review, if you like rustic old style beach houses in a great location at a great price then this is it.”

“My husband and I were very much in need of a getaway that would provide us with a place to become rejuvenated. We live in the mountains of Western NC, so a "different" wonderful view with privacy and a serene feel is what we were after. This property provided everything we were looking for. It was very clean, roomy enough for the two of us and was well stocked with pans and utensils. “This cottage is just 2 houses away from the beach on a quiet side street. You can actually see a bit of the ocean from the front windows. The back faces an attractive pond, and there is a spacious enclosed dog run that my dog, Sukee, really enjoyed. The interior decor is attractive, and the 4 bedrooms are very well done. Several kitchen appliances need updating, but on the whole this is a well-priced and very comfortable home on Edisto. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“The house is very spacious, clean and well appointed. The hostess was very gracious and very quick to reply to any messages I sent. My husband and I spent most of our time on the deck admiring the beautiful view, watching the dolphins swim by, crabbing and fishing from the dock (SC saltwater fishing license required), floating in the pool and just enjoying the peacefulness of the moment. We explored Beaufort and Hunting Island. It was a wonderful experience.”

“620 Shadowwood was a very comfortable place to stay for the 2 of us and our little dog Lincoln. It was well stocked and equipped. Furniture is comfortable. I would recommend it. Coastal Getaways also is helpful and good to deal with.”

“The Island Manor makes is the perfect home for a family vacation. The location, right on the beach, is superb, the setup of the house and the rooms is ideal, five out of six bedrooms face the ocean. “Great stay there . Very clean. Would have liked complimentary coffee left there and there was only one roll of paper towels no dish soap although there were dishwasher pods and washing machine pods which was helpful.Beds comfy.”

“This property has had a full recent renovation and it is lovely. We were there for five nights with our 3 adult children for a family wedding. This place was perfect. Immaculate with a great functional floor plan. Property management had great communication from booking until check out. They answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. The house is truly only a few blocks from the beach. Which is a big plus on Kiawah. Wouldn’t hesitate to book and look forward to returning.,”

“Really enjoyed this property. It was clean and seems to have had some updates since the photos were posted on the site. For our quick trip, this was a perfect place to rest in the evenings. Loved the balcony on the lake. Few Cons… dresser seemed to be broken and the glass stove top had a pretty major crack in it, so I was scared to use that. Overall we really did enjoy this property and we plan on saving this one for future trips to the area. Also the owner was very kind.”
