“Wow! The photos don't do the place justice, its amazing! The communication and access are easy, on arrival a lady showed me the place, there's a set of 4 or 5 together which are seperate from the tourers etc. Theres nothing you don't need inside, shower, toilet, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster etc and all top branded quality stuff. The units are very new and modern and have been decorated to the highest standard. The views are to die for and its a few minutes drive into Forfar. Cant wait to use……

“Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx”

“Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”

“The cottage is very well equipped. It is spacious with everything you need supplied e.g. kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets. The surrounding area is stunning and the coastal walk was beautiful. There is no outside space or view from the cottage however.”

“The house and ground are lovely and very close to the beach. Food was very good for the price, and overall very happy with my stay. The room looked a little tired, and the wet room floor wasn't clean. Drain was also backing up and flooding the floor whilst showering. Overall location excellent and good value for money. ”

“The hotel is nice and reasonably well maintained. I found the decor a bit dated for my taste. I ate dinner one night and it was very nice. Breakfast was decent. All the hotel staff were excellent.”
