“We had a great time at Elysium falls. Property was neat as a pin and very flexible. Great hiking and additional camping space at the top of the mountain with quiet Appalachian seclusion and the sounds of nature. We also did a lot of fly fishing in the creek having caught several small rainbows and a 12" brown. Great host/hostess...highly recommended!”

“One of those listings that’s better than advertised. 15 mins from Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore. House was SO warm and welcoming. The host made us an apple pie! Beds were comfy. I’m booking this again for my next visit to Asheville.”

The main room provides an authentic cabin experience in the midst of beautiful mountain greenery, while the updated kitchen & bathroom provide the modern conveniences. Hosts provided us with excellent information about things to do in the area. We loved the location that is very close to quaint downtown Weaverville and excellent restaurants. Plus it is a short easy drive to Asheville. Great value for the price!”

“This property is incredible! Perfect for our group of 5 friends traveling for a wedding. We loved the house and the options of patio furniture outside. We did not cook or eat any meals at the house, but the kitchen is VERY nice and updated. Bedrooms are good sizes, and 2 nice living rooms/seating areas, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. House looks like the pictures, if not better! I had great communication with the owners, who were very helpful and super nice! Definitely keeping the information on……

“My friends and I have been traveling once yearly for over 25 years. This is our last trip as a large group. Numerous times we remarked that this house is the best one yet. It’s lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed how quiet it was, too. You couldn’t hear every noise and word, so we weren’t waking or keeping each other up. And we love having laundry on site for a slightly longer stay.”

“We loved it! We stayed for five nights in May and it was wonderful! (Us: two middle age parents, two young adult children, from Florida) We were a little surprised by how rustic the road is. We have a regular car (sedan) and it seemed very low against the gravel. I’m glad we didn’t have to drive there during a storm! But the location is worth the drive! The little river was so pretty and relaxing. We “hiked” in the river about a quarter mile each direction. That doesn’t sound far, but it was……

“This was a fantastic girls weekend with my girls. A gorgeous cabin right on the river with an amazing deck. We saw eagles, ospreys and an otter swimming by while having coffee on the deck. We also relaxed at the near by hot spring spas for an hour got dinner at one of the local taverns. Tried our hands at fishing while relaxing near the water. Amazing place to relax and unwind. Definitely coming back for a much longer stay. FYI: Stop at a grocery store prior to coming into the local town it has……
