“Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!”

“We had a great time for a week there. Very relaxing time and the staff were always very kind and friendly. The rooms were a little bit old fashioned but I keeping with the friendly atmosphere ”

“The staff we encountered, and another we asked for help with heating, were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful, although no fruit or brown bread was offered. Toast was offered, but with no suitable crockery. Not enough plug sockets in the bedroom and what were on offer, were not all usable ! Heating was provided in the room - although with no instructions - which proved necessary. Bathroom facilities were good and clean. Parking was plentiful. It was odd that a decaf coffee option……

“Located close to the beautiful Southern coastline, this superb small hotel is a perfect central location for a trip. Many scenic paths are at a walkable distance (5 km to 10 km of moderate difficulty will allow you to see many beautiful sights.) Roy and Jayne are the consummate hosts. They help coordinate your arrival in advance, since the location is a bit remote. They cook an excellent breakfast, and take a keen interest in your plans for your stay. “Everything you could need for independent accommodation. Very well equipped kitchen and dining space with comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms and bathroom are a good size and are clean and tidy. The facility of the hot tub is amazing. Also only a 15min drive from Falmouth seafront. Overall, very well worth a stay here. ”

“Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.”
