Chesapeake Beach Resort

4/10 Poor

"Everything was fine untill it wasn't. The bathroom my The pool was flooding out feces and urine all afternoon and night into and around the pool area and sidewalk and no one cares untill I said something. Its unsanitary! It never was sanitized or cleaned properly just hosed off. You can tell they've been having plumbing issues and tried to keep it under bay untill it had a catastrophic leak. They shut the water off the the entire property in the middle of night into morning of checking out and we wouldn't pee poop or brush teeth or shower. All they offered was a 150 dollar resort fee credit. Its illegal and unsanitary and will be calling health dept. Should have refunded me the last night not just the resort fee. Smelled like urine all night in our room."

"Everything was fine. No issues except we didn’t realize when we booked the room that the water view rooms are in a separate building that has no elevator. We don’t necessarily have too much trouble with one flight of stairs but taking our luggage with us up the stairs was a challenge. For younger people, not an issue. Elderly people need to be very careful on stairs. I would stay there again."

"Absolutely loved this resort! Amazing service and Happy Hour at the Pool! Excellent Transportation options and within walking distance to some really nice restaurants. Great stay after 3 nights in Key West for our Anniversary. Hotel staff communicated with us to plan our arrival and was able to accommodate an early check in. It was a wonderful stay, just book it!"
