「We needed a New Year's escape to rest and reset after a busy year and this log cabin was exactly what we needed. We had a great stay from start to finish, enjoyed the beautiful garden surroundings, had a great pub lunch & enjoyed breakfast after checking out at the local bakery. Great hosts, great location, great cabin.」

「Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. 「The hut on the hill is stunning, as is the barn. The owners Mandy & David provided everything you could possibly need. Fresh white fluffy towels & dressing gowns/ eggs/ milk/ cake/ bread and a bed/ bowl/ leads& treats for our dogs. The hot tub was a wonderful temperature. The bed was comfy and the shower & loo brill. Both the hut and barn were decorated beautifully and all mod cons provided. The scenery was stunning & peaceful. Thanku to the owners soo lovely !」
