「The hotel was dated but very clean, but had everything you would need for a stay. Breakfast and Dinner had plenty of choice. Staff were very attentive.」

「Such a gorgeous property!!! We stayed there for 3 nights and hardly left. We ate at all the restaurants, including High Tea. We had such an amazing time. We will be back!」

「The staff were all very good but at times a little pushed to see to everything. Our room was roomy but not particularly clean, cobwebs on windows, dirt and dusty skirting and all areas upon high had a good layer of dust. One bulb out at bedside and marks on wall and skirting that could be wiped off. Bed linen and towels were clean and soft. Shower and sink clean but toilet was not!!! Passage way to and from dining room smelt of cooking grease all the time that would suggest extractor filters...

「Good hotel and comfortable bed. Had cancel the second night as the hotel was closed. Access for an 81 year old was very difficult. Lots of stairs to manage. The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. 」

「Missold hotel, more like a hostel. Old building no staff available with main door left open when we arrived leaving people very vulnerable. Lex the member of staff at this place lied to Expedia team, telling them that we checked in but hadn't checked out knowing that we had refused to stay there and had asked for a refund which they are refusing! We ended up staying at Gatwick all night until our flight. Not a great start to our holiday. Reviews are questionable. DO NOT STAY THERE!!」
