“Bitterly disappointed with this hotel. On reading the website when booking it advertises sea, relaxation and comfort. However on arrival we were informed the pool, sea swimming and the dive centre were closed all of which open on 1st June as listed under the “services subsection” of the website. At the spa centre again the same story with the sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and steam room all closed. On asking why “just because they are”. Presumably again open on 1st June. “The room, is superbly small. I cannot turn around when I take a bath. Even without a table for me to work. Strong smell inside the room. And under such conditions, the room is very expensive. ”

“Overall a nice stay. The property itself is very dated and needs a renovation/upgrade. But the service at breakfast, and the views from the upgraded rooms are great. Standard rooms are not great. Reception staff average. Gym needs more weights/equipment (but decent room). Some small improvements (aside from a total refresh/renovation) would make a huge difference.”

“Received a warm welcome from Emanuela who was very helpful throughout my stay as was Coralie, giving advice on transport, areas of interest and places to eat. Lovely spacious room with a balcony and wonderful view of the sea. Breakfast was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay at this charming, family run hotel. “Lovely Hotel, with a homely atmosphere. All staff were friendly and helpful. Good Breakfast. Room large with a nice Balcony overlooking the Pool (which unfortunately we didn't have time to use). Would definitely recommend this Hotel.”

“This is an oasis of quiet. An old farmhouse, beautifully appointed. They will make dinner and breakfast for you. There is a lovely restaurant-bar area. You can walk a little ways in the woods. There is a pool. It was a relief to spend two nights here away from the cities. The mt etna park is just 23km away. Perfect!”

“Very comfortable stay in a quiet area approximately 6 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo in the city centre. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar is delightful. Breakfast is fairly standard continental style. The Elite room is a touch of luxury and is worth the slightly higher price tag. I’d highly recommend a stay at this hotel in the heart of Catania.”

“Too far from the touristy stuff, it was a $20 Uber ride to go anywhere, but the airport was only a 25 minute drive. It’s newly done, all modern, very clean. Staff was super nice. Loved our stay.”
