「Oz was a wonderful host. He was attentive and a delight to chat with. The room was very nice and we slept well. The shower is tiny, but this was not an inconvenience. We did have a bit of a problem with dining in the area. So many restaurants are closed on days during the week. We were told this is because right now there isn't enough business for them to be open because this area is really built around the skiing season. We enjoyed ourselves. Thanks, Oz!」

It must be said that a younger traveller will probably be more comfortable with the low-touch approach (text check in, code-locked doors), but they've clearly made an effort to be more accessible to a traveler looking for something more traditional. 」

「Lovely, unique, historic property. Two-room Deerfield suite has comfortable beds, and we enjoyed the large bathroom with big bathtub. Delightful, interesting hosts. Tasty breakfast accommodating my daughter's and my gluten-free needs. We had a great stay and hope to return! 」
