“Clean room, and bar downstairs. Great food. But after about my 3rd or 4th night at this hotel, they did move me to the room right under the club. Loud music of course, and no sleep. It was clear they wanted me to go”

“An intimate gem in St. Pete Beach! A well styled boutique hotel with everything you need. Rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well appointed and designed- very hip. The pool area had both sun and shade, hot tub, and a great bar! The extras were a nice touch- there were bikes to use, plus wagons filled with beach essentials- Upham beach was just around the corner. Staff were excellent too! Cannot wait to book another getaway to the Saint”

“The bed sheets had holes in them. The bathroom appeared to be clean, but the shower walls had orange-colored stains from dirt. I didn’t use the white towels because they looked gray and dirty, so I had to buy new towels just to be able to shower. The sofa also looked dirty and unhygienic. “I recently stayed at Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg Downtown and had a disappointing experience. Check in was at 4 pm, but when we arrived at 4:10, one of our two rooms was still not ready. No one informed us when it became available, we had to follow up ourselves. The staff overall were rude and unhelpful. One room faced the highway, making it very noisy at night, and the smoke alarm kept beeping. Calls to the front desk went unanswered. The next day, we were told room service required 24……

“I had a extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was clearly not cleaned properly—there were stains on multiple surfaces, dust everywhere, and an overall sense of neglect. Basic necessities were missing as well, including soap, which is unacceptable for any stay. To make matters worse, there were gnats and bugs flying around the room, making it even more uncomfortable. “Including this stay my last 3 stay were with Fairfield inn by Marriott in various parts of the country. I keep booking with Marriott because my last 2 stays were excellent. This location not as highly rated by wife and myself. Staff was not as friendly and interior showed much more wear. Could be based on years in business and popularity of area. This stay was also more expensive I'm guessing also based on the area we were in. Traffic in area was tolerable but hectic. Only a couple blocks away……

“The room looked clean but the bathroom and shower was not. There was a shoe print on the toilet. The shower was dirty the shower curtain was nasty. The sink was dirty. I was taking a shower after coming from the beach and the water just cut off. Front desk was no help. I had to wait till the next day for the maintenance to fix it.
