French Polynesia Historic Hotel

"Manava Resort is an absolute dream! You feel like you've stepped straight into a fantasy world that movies are made to model. There is so much that sets them apart, but the deep level of care and kindness shows by the staff really takes Manava to level of hospitality that is unmatched. The views are absolutely breathtaking! Don't miss a sunset or sunrise. Getting straight into the ocean from a private bungalow over the water is like nothing you could put into words. The location is great. It's not far (maybe 15 mins) from the ferry terminal and taxis are easy to come by. Honestly, we never felt the need or want to leave the resort as they had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! 20/10 recommend!!"

"The pool was great and clean , warm and inviting, sun lounge chairs were nice, air conditioning was working well and kept the room cool and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit needy for repairs, but was ok .The restaurant was perhaps lacking in English speaking staff as we had asked for tea 3 times over 45 minutes with our meal , and it seemed they either didn’t want to or understand what tea was or didn’t want to get it , we weren’t upset but it was off putting and we left , also warm beer isn’t good. Grounds were amazing and pretty , love the roosters for waking us up and not wasting the day away lol. All in all , we would go back and enjoy, thank you to the Royal Tahitian for a good nights stay "

"Le Taha’a Hotel is the most amazing place. The grounds are unbelievable. The attention to detail is apparent. This is the third time I have visited this property and this time arrived with eight friends. The hotel did not disappoint. I chose Lagoon view beach property as we have stayed over water every other time. We had our own little private beach with a private outdoor bathtub and plunge pool"

"We stayed in an overwater villa with a pool and looking directly at Mount Otemanu on the front row. I couldn’t fault the accomodation. Spectacular views, Clean modern and well designed villa. Super comfy bed, pillows and furniture in the villa. A huge viewing window for looking into the water and every night 3 stingrays would come and swim under the window. Amazing This should be on your bucket list of to do’s in life. It’s not cheap but worth every penny. Simply paradise. Staff are fantastic and any issues are immediately rectified. Bora Bora is truly heaven on earth. "

"The overwater bungalow was a beautiful experience. The amenities were plentiful, it is very hard to be bored with the included amenities. From making hats, to kayaking, snorkeling, etc all on the property and can be reached either from a short walk or swim. The staff were kind and pleasant to be around especially Ms. Barbara. "
