“Very nice apartment. Good size, and well equipped. Great location - easy walk to central district. If you have a car, do not park in lot recommended by host. Expensive at 15 euros / 24 hours, cash only, and does not have 24 hour access to vehicle. Instead, park in 1 or the 2 closer lots across the main street. Cost is as low as 4 euros / 24 hours, pay at machine (cash or credit card), 24 hour access to vehicle, cleaner lot.”

“If you want to be an easy walking distance to the market, the seaside, great restaurants, the cable car, etc., you cannot find a better apartment than this one in Zona Velma! It is a simple apartment that was comfortable and clean. Small kitchen for preparing simple meals. Sea view from kitchen window. Nice balcony with a pretty street view. I did not find the street very noisy. I would recommend this apartment for a great Funchal experience! ”

“We had a great stay here from December 15 to January 9. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. We received fresh linens and bedsheets every Monday, which was a really nice touch. Communication with the host was super easy and smooth throughout our stay. The location is excellent, close to everything, though if you’re walking, be prepared for a steep hill from the main road — consider it a built-in workout! Overall, a wonderful stay and we’d definitely recommend it.”

“One of the main reasons I chose the apartment was that it's on the top floor and should be quiet. We didn't have any issues with noise during our 13 night stay. “Nicely tucked away in a corner in the center of the city, close to everything. Loved the secret agent vibes of the place, coming to our floor from the elevator it took our tired brains a second to realize there were doors there at all 🤭 check in was easy and effortless, the place was clean and neat. The airing of the place could have been a bit better, but didn't hinder the experience. Perfect sized for an 'out all day' -kind of vacationer and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.”
