「The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area.」

「Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast for two for $30 was not worth the price; was typical sausage and scrambled eggs, usually offered for free at other hotels. Otherwise the hotel was clean.」

「It’s a basic hotel. We got in town late and left in the morning so it served its purpose. The TV in our room didn’t work and it looked a little run down but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was good. If you just need a place to rest your head this place will do. The staff were great and very friendly.」

「Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better. 」
