“We stayed at the Berger Guest House in April and it was beautiful! The pool was not open yet, but we all enjoyed walking the property and watch the serenity of the place- there was literally a swan swimming on the pond. The house had a lovely open floor plan so it was great for our girls trip!”

“This property was perfect for us - we had our dog with us and the combination of the fields/woods around the house and the awesome back deck couldn’t have been better. The cabin was immaculate and well laid out - highly recommended”

“Clean, parking easy to find plenty space. Walking to shops.restaurant near by. If you like the history of town see the museums near by .wine distillery east to find all have reasonable rates for tasting. Enjoyed the porch and yard at the house but will not miss the stairs to the upstairs room, not suited for elderly people otherwise I would stay there again.location perfect very quiet.”

“This is truly the perfect place to unplug & reset. It is absolutely beautiful! The seclusion/privacy is fantastic! Even our little dogs had the best time. The nearby (1 mile)Clifty creek area is amazing! We walked the regular hiking trails at the preserve & then walked upstream from the road. The scenery is breathtaking & we even got to watch a little otter family play. The host is wonderful! The water heater elements went out on our 2nd day & she was able to quickly get a plumber out while we……

“Check in process was easy as was the communication with the host.”

“Beautiful house tucked away from neighbors.”

“Zero issues with this property all the amenities were provided as far as bedding/linens, towels/ washcloths pretty much fully stocked kitchen as far as pots, pans, skillets, dining ware, glass ware, pretty much any kind of utensil you might need in the kitchen they have you covered. Just came home from our first ever sisters trip and it was amazing, very secluded, quiet, even though the owners live on the property they are still a bit away from where we stayed. We had the best time we have had……

“This property has a nice large kitchen that is well stocked with coffee, tea, etc. We used the front fenced in yard mostly for the dogs and they loved getting to roam free. It is an older home and the decor matched very well. Communication with the host was great. We needed extra towels and sheets and the host responded quickly with directions on how to get them. The bathroom could use a fan since it steams up and the floor and flat surfaces get soaked when the shower is used. Also due to……

“Very clean, family friendly, even though it was 7 miles out of town they were very Accommodating, they came to puck us up at the train station and there's a van that will take you into town and you can take the trolley to all the wineries, shopping, we all loved our stay,i would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys the fram life, they have lots of history, and animals, thank you Susan and Mike for all that you did to make our stay memorable, we would definitely come back. ”

“This is a very cute little house on the end of a quiet street. It's within easy walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, wineries, distilleries, and bars between 1st Street and 5th Street. If you don't mind a longer, hillier walk you could also go further south to City Park or to Stone Hill winery. But there's also easy transportation on the Trolley or local ride services. We were happy to find there were more beds than pictured (3 queen size downstairs between 2 bedrooms, and 2 queens……

“Great house in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the quiet solitude and woodsy area. Very clean accommodations with every amenity available. ”
