「When we arrived at the hotel it didn't look anything special from the outside. On entering into the small reception we received a very warm welcome and given some local information. We were directed to our room which was very spacious, clean and a nice outlook . The bed was very comfortable although I found the room warm but my husband slept right through the night, which is unusual for him. 「Excellent staff, glorious location, fabulous grounds and views. Lovely lounges and bar. Super pool and facilities. Spacious bedroom, bathrooms and storage space. We did not use the restaurant. Cleaning and replenishment of refreshments and room service only if requested. Bathrooms Need some attention as there is significant mould in the bathroom and shower, and also there is considerable condensation in the bedroom windows, even though we opened them during the day. Overall a lovely...

「Stayed here on a visit to Wigtown in late August 2026. Communication was great with multiple emails confirming reservation and instructions. Although there are no staff of duty the instructions on how to get the key were timely and detailed and we had no problems at all getting in and checking out, and we arrived late. The bunkhouse is clean, smelled fresh, and the rooms were nice. We stayed in rooms 1 & 3 and it was lovely. Also very quite! The bathrooms were modern, very clean, and well...
