Great stay

This is our second stay at Roscrea and it did not disappoint. A well equipped amd spacious property to spend some quality time with the family with the pool as a great plus. We had an enjoyable time despite some wet weather we got during our stay! Thabkyou Roscrea!

Amazing

This house has everything a large or small family needs. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. They even have toys our kids were very entertained. The games room is another plus, we will definitely be planning to stay again.

What a hidden gem

This was a very last minute stay and the owners went out of their way to assist us and ensure our stay was amazing. Everything you need for couples or families are at this property and only a short drive to the Hunter tourist sites Great place to stay in Summer or Winter.

Lovely weekend away

We really enjoyed our weekend at Roscrea. It is a beautiful homestead in a beautiful location. Very restful. We explored the nearby historic towns as well as exploring the property itself. The pool was lovely too and nice and warm. Thanks for a great weekend

Wonderful stay at Rosecrea!

Our group loved our stay at Rosecrea. Well set up for family/friend groups and kids. So much space for everyone, lots to do and a beautiful property to explore. It was always a nice surprise waking up to cows just beyond the fence each morning!

Beautiful and very very clean and well kept homestay

Beautiful property, and very very clean and well maintained. Extremely accomodating for all my needs. Each bathroom had a blow dryer, kitchen basic ingredients provided, linen, towels, pool toys. We had everything we needed.

Family reunion

It cater for all of our needs from the pool to the bbq and the outdoor fire to the freezer with ice. It was for a memorial service for my mother/grandmother and we had 3 generation staying at the house. There was room for everyone inside and out.

Excellent property with plenary of room for everyone.. One bedroom does not have an ensuite (as advertised) but there are 4 bathrooms in the house.. Overall an excellent place to relax with friends..

Wonderful

Property was magnificent, stayed for 2 nights, the outdoor fire place made for a beautiful ambience..... After doing a cycling loop was fabulous to come back to hot showers and sit around in the spacious comfortable lounge room with the fire going views from every window.. Bedrooms and ensuites fantastic... Would definately recommend this property.

Perfect property

Roscrea had so much space both indoor and outdoor for all activities. Rooms were great, pool was fantastic and it was the perfect location to relax with no light, sound or distractions around. Something out of a novel.

No need to leave. So relaxing.

We do an annual adults weekend away every year and this house has been our favourite so far. We had cooler weather but it was still so fun, with the large lawn space we played lots of sport games that was provided in a large games box. We loved how every couple had their own bathroom and the large dinning spaces and loads of seating. We will come back again for sure.

Rainy friends catch-up weekend.

Amazing! This property was beyond our expectations in every way. It rained the whole weekend but it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits. We all loved being together & hanging out around an indoor & out door fire.

This is the perfect house for groups, stunning views!

We were a group of families with our young children. This was the perfect house as each family had their own bathroom. We enjoyed the lawn, the breathtaking views, the well equipped kitchen and the multiple gathering spaces. The location is stunning. We had the best time and wish we could have stayed longer, but grateful for the late check out time. Hoping to book again soon.

Great rural escape

Roscrea is a beautiful property. A perfect place to stay if you are looking for seclusion and a place to spend quality time with your family. Plenty of space for the multi - generational family. The property has open fire places for a winter stay and the bonus of a pool if staying during the summer. The house is so clean and well equipped. We would definitely recommend a stay at Roscrea and hope to return again soon. Thank you!

An absolute gem!

This was a last minute booking over the new year period and so glad we did book! What an amazing property! Set in a very quiet and private surrounding with views you cannot get sick of, we loved everything about it. Staying as 2 families, the house is well fitted out and spacious, fitting us all very comfortably. Having 8 kids amongst us, the pool was great and the trampoline and cubby house a bonus! Overall a most enjoyable and memorable stay in the Hunter Valley! Highly recommend and we look forward to going back.

3 days with friends

A group of 9 old friends, all aged in their 60s or 70s, stayed here for three days. The property is well equipped and comfortable, with two different places for 9 people to eat together. We catered or ourselves for all meals ( and given the distance of the property from towns that is the only realistic alternative), but the facilities of the property were well able to cope with that. The area surrounding the homestead is attractive.. The photo of the pool suggests that it is larger than it really is, but that was not a concern for us.

Holiday at Roscrea Homestead

Loved the location and peaceful atmosphere. But the house looks old and furniture faulty in some rooms. Living room curtains are hard to draw. We were not concerned much about those as they were not major issues. But the television is below standard. There should be a smart TV as people expect to have YouTube or other connection facilities these days. Kitchen was excellent and had all facilities. Overall it’s a nice place to stay if improved a little bit. All of us enjoyed the stay. Thanks and regards

The perfect family retreat for the young and old!

We recently stayed at Roscrea Estate for our family’s annual Christmas in July weekend. Every detail of this place has been well thought out, well maintained and comes with the most picturesque surrounds. The accommodation was very comfortable, with each of our 4 families enjoying the privacy of their own bedrooms and adjoining ensuites. We spent each day soaking up the winter’s sun on the full wrap around verandah while the children enjoyed the use of the trampoline, cubbyhouse, bikes and surrounding gardens. There was no need to venture away for meals as the house included a well equipped kitchen, BBQ and large outdoor table setting placed directly in front of an outside fireplace- perfect for our winter break! To cap it off, each night we were able to retreat to the cosy lounge room area to sit in front of a second fireplace or stay comfortably warm in the ducted air conditioning! I would highly recommend this place to a family wanting to reconnect, rejuvenate and escape. We look forward to returning- possibly in the warmer weather so the children can also make use of the swimming pool!

Simply breathtaking. What an amazing property. From the booking experience, to the communication with the property managers to the property itself we couldn’t fault it. Even the weather was perfect for us. Would definetely go back and stay many more times. Have already recommended this property to friends and family. What a wonderful experience we had.
