“I booked this property for a guys fishing trip on the Muskegon river and this place didn’t disappoint. Prior to arrival the host was super responsive to all communication. On the day of arrival the host sent me message to let me know I could check in early. The cabin was clean, the internet (Starlink) was fast, there was plenty of propane for the grill and the back portion of the property along the river where the tepee was set up was a very pleasant surprise. I would 100% recommend this……

“This property is beautiful, clean, lots of privacy, with so much to explore outside in the woods and by the river! Its a great place to keep kids off of their electronics while exploring outdoors. But there's also plenty of room to stretch out in the cabin and unwind after the day is done. This was everything our family wanted for a quick weekend getaway!”

“We were looking for a quaint place to get away for springbreak 2024 and found this gem. Nice and quiet, snowed, miles hiked on the north country trail, and views of the lake from the hot tub. The little gas station around the corner had amazing pizza too. The ownees checked in on us and were great communicators. The place is small but it was a perfect fit for 2 adukts, 2 kida and a chocolate lab to sneak away and have lake front views.”

“The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂”

“Property owner answered all my questions in a timely manner. The property was exactly as described. Me and 6 of my buddies stayed there for a nice fishing and golfing trip and had plenty of space to hang out on a rainy day. Really enjoyed our stay!!”

“There were detailed and plentiful descriptions and photos of every room in the cabin and the surrounding area. The cabin was clean and well-stocked, there were even bottles of water in the frig. The check-in and check-out processes were clearly explained. And the owner was easy to communicate, and very accommodating. It was a pleasant experience spending the weekend in this cabin!”

“I needed a place to just be with myself for a few days, get a little work done, and reflect. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The beach was great. The sunsets were fantastic. And it was so close to pioneer park and Muskegon state park that I had lots of places to wander and think. I will be back”

“This was a great home for our large group! Ample sleeping space for all, large and very well equipped (and labeled!) kitchen, and enough space for everyone to relax as they wished. The connecting trail to the state park was perfect and we enjoyed a few hikes to Lake Michigan. The host was very easy to communicate with and helpful when we had questions. Would be a great place in the summer, too!”

“The cabin was cute! Extremely clean and had just about everything we needed. Larger than it looks. Very private. Loved the woods. The rules were a little strict, in my opinion. But probably fine for most people. A couple things to note for future stays: bring paper towel, long lighter & hatchet (there's plenty of wood, but the logs were big and not split) The beginning of the trail behind the house is not marked or really visible, but if you just walk straight back, you will reach it! It took us……

“Amazing. Tranquil. Convenient. Found Millie’s Market a few miles away, do not miss. The locals were super friendly and polite, lots of privacy. Lots to do nearby if you want but we were so happy with this cabin and location all we did was eat, rest, read, and relax. Host incredibly patient and answered all questions. Cabin very, very comfortable. Will be back next year for sure.”

“This is a fantastic cabin, we loved everything! Lots of wildlife to enjoy and the Muskegon river. The cabin is very nice and well equipped. For older people with knee issues the staircase to the river might be an issue, it’s long, about 80 steps. My only suggestion is to add a hummingbird feeder :). A few came by to check out other feeders.”

“We had a fantastic stay at our cottage. Beach and bath towels were provided, space was clean and cozy, grill and fire pit out back with chairs. Even the internet access was great. And being steps away from your own quiet beach access point was amazing. Incredible views and very convenient. Would highly recommend.”
