"What a lovely BnB, such character within the whole building as its so old. Parking is just outside if you get a space but dont forget to get a parking disc from the property. Our stay was just for one night sadly but would defiantly stay again. there is a honesty bar if you dont want to venture out to the local pub across the road. Breakfast was chosen the night before which we didnt have an issue with, the offerings were excellent including the buffet choice with fruit/cereals and juices etc...before our chosen full English...yummy Didnt have time to stop and look around Richmond itself but it looked when driving through to be a great place to wander and shop in the cobbled square."

"This was our 2nd stay. Staff friendly room was great. Rooms nice and warm on a cold December night looking out over market square. Staff great so honest I lost my ring and it was found in the room. I was so grateful the ring was so sentimental to me. I emailed the owner Jon and he replied straight away. I will definitely stay here again."

"What can I say, this accommodation has been styled to absolute perfection. It is simply stunning!! The cottage shows an exceptional level of care and thoughtfulness throughout. It felt warm, cosy and immediately like a home away from home. The kitchen was exceptionally well equiped, featuring high quality utensils, a coffee machine, stunning serving bowls and a microwave that also served as an air fryer! The welcome pack was also very much appreciated.The location could not be any better, right in the centre of Richmond, it really is a "Stone's Throw" away. We only used our car once for the duration of our stay.Richmond is so beautiful, especially at this time of year. The owners left us a note telling us about the free mince pies and mulled wine in the centre which were delightful. We also took full advantage of the free guided tour of Richmond. Our guide Tom was so knowledgeable of the area and it's history.We were the first guests to stay at the cottage and we will definitely be returning. Thank you."

"The beds, rooms, shower were comfy, clean and we slept well. Shower was easy to operate, water pressure good, water was also hot. Staff great beer etc reasonably priced We always enjoy our stay The council should allocate parking for the residents. outside the Inn,"

"I loved the Turf hotel. We were late arriving but the young lady stayed on site until we arrived. That alone is worthy of a good review. The room was fine, a little run down but certainly not a problem. The bedding was fantastic, plenty of pillows and a lovely warm duvet. We were only there briefly, we left straight after breakfast (which was really nice). Everybody we spoke to was super happy & helpful. I think we'll be back in the area soon and the Turf will be my first phone call for accommodation. "
