“The hotel is a stunning building. Even the public areas feel luxurious and comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. Our dog had been provided with everything he needed and could be included in everything except the spa. The food was excellent and so was the service. The one negative was how busy the pool area was in the spa. There were far fewer loungers than guests making the experience not as enjoyable as it could have been. The drinks service at the pool was extremely slow which was……

“We found the hotel to be excellent in all aspects. We arrived fairly late (10pm) but were able to get a bottle of wine to enjoy in the very comfortable lounge area. The hotel is very spacious and well appointed. The gardens are beautiful and our breakfast was very tasty. Although the hotel was busy (as evidenced from breakfast) it was also very quiet and peaceful. All around a fantastic option for anyone looking for a hotel in the area and excellent value.”

“Beautiful historic hotel sensibly and chicly updated. Staff very attentive. Our suite was quite comfortable..terrific bed and lovely bath including charming decor and sitting area. The gardens are amazing and you can walk down to the river Tamar from the hotel. Breakfasts amazing, dinner good. Small niggle; pillows are all the same. I like a softer version fwiw. Hope to come back again; really a stunning spot.”

“This B&B hotel was beyond our expectation, really nice and warm feeling staying there. Only 10 min driving to Plymouth downtown, quite and comfortable. Nice and traditional building with good experience. Good breakfast and condition that we really enjoy staying there for 2 nights. If you want to experience traditional English style pub and food as well as feeling, Don't miss it.”
