「We stayed on a houseboat in Lewis Wharf a few years ago and loved it, so we wanted to donit again. We are actually’local’ and my teen and adult kids like to stay in the city for short breaks. (We live an hour away). Love the proximity to the North End, the T, the Aquarium etc. Surprisingly quiet. We miss the boat we used to have, so we enjoy getting gently rocked to sleep. Will always choose a houseboat over a hotel if it’s available.」

This was just close enough where we could enjoy the piece and quiet at the end of the day, while still being close to where wr needed to be. Everything was clean and beautiful. 「My son and I stayed here on a spring break trip. The location was a 5 min walk from the USS Constitution, a 10 min walk to Bunker Hill and a 20-30 min walk to the North End. However because we were on a boat in a marina there was zero traffic noise and that combined with the rocking motion of the houseboat meant I slept extremely well. Bonus: we were visited on several days by a pair of ducks who would hang out on the patio with us. Got to love a vacation home that comes with pets! Downsides?...

「The room/unit we were in was above shake shack so you could here the music and noise from the restaurant. Location was great for us though it was Midway between fenway and Boston common in back bay. We took the free logan express bus to back bay and the room was 1 block away. Only $3 to go back to the airport. 」

"I and my husband came for the 128 Boston Marathon. My unit was in 41 St. Stephen Street. The location is very convenient with Symphony Station just round the corner. A short walk to Hynes Convention Centre and Marathon finish line. Whole Food Market is just 3 minutes walk and there are many nice restaurants around. Though in an old building, the unit appears recently renovated with marble kitchen table top, a big fridge, microwave, toaster and electric stove which is very efficient in cooking. The kitchenette is definitely a bonus for us since we can cook a lot of rice for carbo loading. The toilet is not big but enough for its purpose. Overall is very clean. There is no cleaning service in my 4 days stay but can ask for supplies of essentials like tissue paper, garbage bags, coffee, towel or bed sheets if needed. Please note the stove top is difficult to operate. You can ask the reception for a video which give clear steps to turn on the stove. The shower is also difficult to adjust the correct temperature, but after a few trials, problem was resolved. I like the efficient communication through WhatsApp and the response is usually within few minutes during operation hours (9 am - 9 pm). I arrived after 9 pm and I received very clear self checkin instructions. Overall a very pleasant stay. "
