「We had a nice time; location was close to everything and a short walk to the beach; liked the pool and hot tub amenities but the pool was a little cold; there were a few misses by housekeeping but nothing significant; overall the place was well maintained and great for a group of 8. 」

「We came to Outer Banks for our 2024 family vacation with six adults and two teens. We always do midweek arrival so that often limits us to properties. This cottage came up on my first search and I continued to be drawn to it over and over during my search. It was everything we were looking for and it didn’t disappoint! We had access to a community pool and our own private hot tub. Beach access was 200 yards down the street, and was very easy walk if we wanted to come back and grab food or needed...

「We had such a great time! There was a problem with one of the TV’s downstairs and the maintenance man showed up quick to fix the problem. The house is located in a good spot close to multiple shops, food places, and the canal out back was the best part. Our favorite places to eat were Dune Street Raw Bar and Grill, Millers Waterfront Restaurant, and McGraths Burger Shack. We will definitely be going back!」

「This was our 3rd time staying here and it has become a little home away from home for our family! My wife and I and our 17 & 14 year old absolutely love visiting here. The unit is absolutely perfect for a family of 4. The location is perfect right on the beach, with some restaurants, jockeys ridge, etc in walking range. And I can't say enough about the property owners. Such a great family! 5 stars isn't enough!」

「The location could not be more perfect at this property that epitomizes old Nags Head. The relaxing porch leads to a gorgeous beach. The interior of the house is old, but newer bathrooms - as described in the listing. The kitchen provided the basics (plates, utensils, etc) but could’ve benefited from some essentials (like dish soap and dishwasher detergent). More bath towels would’ve also been helpful. Communication from the property manager was timely and thorough. 」
