「A good shower with fair water pressure and hot water. Breakfast is average fare. Includes eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles etc. The location is perfect for access to Portage, Mattawan, Lawton, and Kalamazoo. Easy on and off I-94」

「Room #220 that I stayed in on April 28th, 2026 had black mold on the wall above the shower surround. This was not noticed until the following morning. I woke up eyes itchy and throat sore/swollen. I am highly allergic to Penicillin and this could had been a serious medical emergency if I stayed more then (1) one night. Upon discovering the black surface mold, I packed up and immediately left the property. I stay 20-60 night a year in hotels for my business and this chain of hotel is always new...

「I had booked through Expedia and they said they didn't have my reservation. Upon my room being cancel at $93 dollars, they had no rooms available except for my room that they said they didn't have reserved just opened up. Make that make sense? I said, "okay I will rebook". They tried to charge me $100 dollars more and I am still battling with getting my $93 dollar refund at a hotel that I didn't stay at, as I went to one up the road. 」

「First thing I did when I went into the room was kill a cockroach. Luckily I was just there for a couple hours of sleep each night. Kept my bags zipped up and everything off the floor. Shower fixtures not secured to the wall.」

「Wound not recommended the restaurant within the hotel. We went there for breakfast. Portions are small for price. No jelly with toast and one waitress serving the whole restaurant. This is the only downfall of our experience. Room was adequate. Everything seemed to clean. Staff was helpful.」

「Gentleman that checked us on was very nice and outgoing. Room was comfortable and quiet. The courtyard in the back was a nice amenity as it was a warm spring evening out and we were able to have pizza and a beer out there while letting our new puppy explore the great outdoors.」

「Room was a bit run down. Didn't seem like it was cleaned in awhile. Dust on the counters and cabinets. Toilet had a mold ring in it. Breakfast seemed stale. They do not put everything away everyday and leave it out until the next morning. 」

「Clean room, housekeeping staff was excellent.」

「Yes on both. I found that the floor in shower very slippery I had to put hand towel on floor to stand on for safety. 」

「Very nice place. Beds are super comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast looked good but I just grabbed a banana on the way out. Will definitely stay here again!」
