“We were given a wheelchair accessible room modified for guests with a physical disability. The bed was comfortable. Close to Le Shuttle. Staff were friendly and the stay was quiet and safe with easy parking that was charged on top of the room cost.”

“Howfield Manor is a really lovely hotel. Quite a unique venue. The staff were so helpful. This is my second time at the hotel yesterday was for sisters Celebration of Life. We were in the marque which was beautifully laid out, the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful. We had a lovely room which was very clean and we had a superb view of the gardens. Highly recommended.”

“This is an ancient, historic hotel. Be mindful of the fact that you are staying here more for the character and historical significance then for the comfort. Stairways are small and steep and parking - went available at all - is challenging. That said, however, the staff is very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our one night stay.”

“Whilst we only live 15 minutes away we have stayed here on several occasions as it is the perfect place for a night away. Everything makes you feel so relaxed and the team are very welcoming. It has a great atmosphere with good food and the breakfast is wonderful. The country setting is lovely too but within easy driving distance of the motorways, railway and ports.
