“The Birches is an absolutely beautiful location. It is so picturesque, and quiet. An absolutely lovely spot. The house itself is charming, but folks with limited mobility would have a hard time navigating the steps, uneven floors, and doorways. The area directly surrounding it is perfect for long walks through the hills.”

“Turned up to find our key out on a table, with our name and details where to find the room
Everyone else who was staying also had their keys laid out with names/room details. No-one available to speak to, in-person, at check-in. We were in the family room, at the back/outside of the property. Whole room smelt of grease due to the chip shop adjoining the hotel. To be fair, the hotel itselt smelt greasy. Toilets were filthy with broken seats, one of the shower trays filthy and not clean. The……

“The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. ”

“We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom.
We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet……
