"Dirty bedding, bedding so stained/ dirty a transfer to a new room was necessary. Loud banging AC fan units in rooms. "

"We stayed 5 nights the end of March/beginning of April 2026. We had 2 adults and 5 kids. 4 teenagers and our youngest is 7. We had an amazing time. My kids caught tons of fish off the dock. Great location, clean house, wonderful host, family friendly. We enjoyed the crystal clear water. We used our paddle boards, but the house comes with kayaks. We rented go boats. The house is super close to the park with the mermaids. Near excellent restaurants. We had a blast and can't wait to go back! This house was worth every penny and has very fair pricing. "

"Location was great for a jumping off point. Centrally located, yet quiet and somewhat secluded. Facilities were exactly what one would expect (actually better) than the price point. The only issue was the bed. I have traveled to everywhere from Panamanian jungle cabins and Cuban home stays, to Europe and Vietnam; but this was the single worst bed I have ever slept in (captains room). Pro-tip - put two pillows under the mattress, running down the centerline of the bed. Worked well and made the bed somewhat comfortable. I was torn on giving a high rating because everything is fantastic, except for the beds."

"No refrigerator or microwave in room. They were partying in the parking lot. Smoking and drinking and loud. Mattress was worn out. "

"Older hotel but well kept and clean. A few areas could use some attention, but overall pleasant. Front desk staff person was very friendly and welcoming. Nice pool, but it was too chilly to use it while we were there."
