"Everything about our stay was wonderful. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials to feed our large family. The view from the master bedroom was spectacular in the morning as the sun rose. Our grandchildren loved playing in the lake and walking on the sandbar to fish off the little island and my grandson caught his biggest fish ever casting toward the tree limbs in the water. Lots of room to spread out in the house and yet gather together for meals and cooking in the expansive kitchen. We had a fabulous time and all my children want to come back next year."

"I concur with all of the positive reviews which are accurate in their descriptions. The bed is a great couple’s bed, super comfy. We loved having the whole of the large bottom deck to ourselves for breakfast in the morning, and glasses of wine at night. As of June, 2026, both cell service and WiFi aren’t great, so I recommend downloading everything (playlists, maps, movies) ahead of time. As most everyone has correctly mentioned, Debi is a fantastic and thoughtful host. We’ll be coming back again. Recommended: Hikes - High Falls South Trailhead (5min drive) w/1mi walk to the falls - Panthertown Valley Trailhead (35min drive) w/numerous trails. Restaurants: The Local (10min drive) and a minute down the road is Happs Place, both with good food and live music. There’re numerous places to put in for paddling and the lake is beautiful."

"Home was lovely and I want to give a shout out to whoever cleans. Great job! It is a little remote, but we were fine with that. Also there are no bedrooms on the main floor. But plenty of space to sleep a group and kitchen was well stocked. Lovely scenery from porches. We loved the nearby Glenville Lake!"

"Great house on a charming lane near Lake Glenville and Signal Ridge Marina. Great restaurant (Happ’s Place) very close by. Location is A. WIFI worked great, lots of kitchen supplies and extra towels and bedding. Only negatives were: the garage was a bit dingy, the driveway is difficult to maneuver out of (true of most mountain properties), there was no baby gate for stairs (this was stated in the listing), there was no bath mat, and the sliding glass doors were only locked by long pieces of wood wedged in between. These were minor and would not prevent us from booking this property again."

"This cabin was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. Host provided excellent directions (better than the GPS). Would highly recommend Pops Peak to others. Also, very close to the dock for Lake Glenville Waterfall tours ( 5 minutes), which is an excellent excursion to take."
