“Overal we had a nice stay in New York and the apartment. However, the communication via the Sondor app was poor. I had problems with the security payment which could not be solved via the app (at the end it took me 15min for a call). Futhermore, we had an issue with the fire alarm beeping (not solved during the evening / night).”

Also communications could be better. I had trouble getting in touch with the front desk assistant Sable while checking out and getting clean towels. Other than this, this is a great deal. “The unit is spacious and bright. Closets are enormous and beds are comfortable. Pictures are accurate. Booking experience was not good, the address is not what is listed in ad, which ended up having the limo for my daughter’s wedding go to wrong place. Management doesn’t contact you with any details until the the day you checkin. They should at least acknowledge you immediately and let renters know they will send codes on check-in day. But it saves our purposes well and we were pleased with our……

“My family (me, my husband and our 3 teenage sons) all enjoyed our stay. The townhouse is very clean and tastefully decorated. The residential street is a nice break from the busy Manhattan life. It is very conveniently located to supermarkets and restaurants. We walked as well as used buses, subways and the occasional taxi to be visit One Summit, Grand Central Station, Tenement Museum, MET museum, Wall Street and Times Square. Since it was prepaid we had to use three hours over phone explaining this to hotels.com before they were convinced and provided us a similar hotel.”

“The window screen was loose and very noisy! The towels are thin and grayish, was there for 4 days, coffee is for one day. Not worth the money. Also, it wasn’t clear if parking is free which is important for my stay. I paid 28 dollars more per day. Overall, not worth the money I paid for my stay ”
