「I had a wonderful stay at Gretna Green Hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the local area. 「The room was not serviced on two days out of four - the reason given was that the housekeeper did not work those days. The restaurant was closed for evening meals at short notice. The entrance door was closed and locked early in the evening and my keys did not work on occasions.」

Janice cooks a mean omelette for breakfast and enjoyed my packed lunch. Lovely estuary walking and lots of nature reserves in the area. Would stay again if in the area.」

「We felt right at home from the moment we met Freda outside her lovely B&B. Our room was clean and cool, bathroom was very nice as well. Big TV and coffee & Tea on our table. The house itself is very charming and historic. The next day we were greeted by a hearty and delicious homemade breakfast by Freda, we even got to meet Gypsy! Her sweet doggie. We loved our short time in Dumfries, I hope we make our way back there again. We will definitely be staying at the Huntigdon once more」
