「We loved our stay at Walden Retreats. Becky checked us in and was so welcoming and informative of our tent and things to do while we were there. I was worried that the tent would be warm in the first of August, but we kept the shades down during the day and the fans on. My husband and I actually woke up cold in the morning, so we were just fine. I couldn't believe how clean the tent itself was. They had special touches like robes, luxury bath towels, and fantastic smelling shampoo and...

「This is a cool and different experience than usual. Outdoor shower is pretty nice. It's a bit of a way down some windy backcountry roads, but I enjoy getting to see off the beaten path. A nice, peaceful stay outside of the city of Fredericksburg. We had an issue with the hot tub working, and host was super responsive in trying to get it fixed. Would recommend for someone looking for a different, interesting type of place to stay.」

「We had such a great experience at Colorado River Camping Resort! The cabin had everything we needed, which made our stay feel comfortable and easy from the moment we arrived. It was clean, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
We also arrived after hours, and the staff made the check-in process so smooth and stress-free, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel. The office staff overall were attentive, kind, and made us feel very welcomed.
It was a peaceful, enjoyable...
