Nashville Historic Mansker's Station Frontier Life Center Hotels

"I had to book last minute due to a travel incident. I arrived at 11pm. The night clerk was very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast buffet was sufficient and staff was attentive. All around a positive experience. I travel a lot and have had similar situations where I had to book last minute. Often, the night staff does the bare minimum. Not the case at La Quinta. Thank you for being aware that last minute bookings are often out of necessity and travelers are weary. "

"Staff was welcoming and very helpful. The beds were comfy and clean. Our trip required a pull out mattress and the mattress was yellow and very old, not comfortable. The television did not work. When we told staff they did offer us a new room but told us that many of the rooms TVs did not work. Pool was clean and warm, kids had a great time swimming. There was no hot breakfast due to oven not working, fruit that was available was bruised and old looking. The coffee tasted like the machine had not been cleaned in a long time."

"The absolute disgust I had for this property cannot even be put into words. The floor was squishy, yes, I said squishy. Not installed properly, multiple materials used for repairs, floors were lifting up and separating. NOT ONCE did we get our room cleaned. Not once did we get checked on or asked if we were satisfied. The pillows were crap, nothing smelled proper and the place was absolutely disgusting. We were there for 4 days on an Expedia trip otherwise I would have canceled and asked for a refund. This property is about 30 minutes from Nashville. There were broken down cars in the parking lot, neighbor had 7 people in their room, and it smelled like smoke even though it says $200 fine for smoking. It has never been painted since smokers were allowed. I just kept thinking this was a slum lord. Expedia did us dirty for my daughter's birthday trip to Nashville. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!"

"The staff was nice enough. Our key didn't work and he fixed that right away. The room had holes in the walls, mold in the bath tub, crumbs on the floors. Beds looked fine but my kids, husband and I were unsure of the cleanliness. Then someone tried to get into our room, it ended up being double booked. This scared my kids and was the deciding point in leaving and finding somewhere else "
