"We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful."

"Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. "

"First of all the condition of bathroom and the cleanliness of the room in general was really poor, insect on the floor, mold and dirty at evwry corner.In the morning, after informing the reception that the water was cold, and after the visit of some staff, we have been forced to take cold shower, since the problem was not solved after more than 40 minutes. "This hotel was beautiful, but the road to get there may not be worth it. It eventually turns into a dirt road and it can be dangerous. It is a very long way up the mountain. The only way to get there is a tuktuk or scooter, but that still could be dangerous. Just know that it is a long way out of Kandy."

"Worth it for the pool alone. Lovely staff. Good food. Its a trip to get there and only with good weather for the roads but once there its like the garden of eden with a banging infinity pool and views over sri lanka "

"Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"

"Nice clean room. Hot shower, soft bed, and a working mini fridge. Enjoyed the balcony, which faces the street. When I booked the room, I thought it said "mountain view" which is true, but a bit of a stretch. Restaurant is pretty good; staff are polite. Check-in was a bit rushed; otherwise, no problems."
