Wonderful accommodation - a true home from home.

The Lighthouse is an absolutely fantastic property; and truly gives a home from home experience. It is beautifully finished and the interior is very quirky and fun. The beach is very close although the pool area at the house meant we rarely left!

Wow factor property

Incredible interior but felt very homely. Property had everything we needed, pool was small however didn't bother kids as beach so close. Owner was charming and very helpful.

What an amazing place to make memories with our kids!!

This beautiful lighthouse property was perfect in every way. We really, really enjoyed all the decor, not a detail was missed! The home is very clean and this was such a very well kept property, great location. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to the beach. It was such a convenient bonus to have the beach carts, chairs and toys. It was very, very pleasant to work with the owner. We will definitely be back to Anna Maria Island and would absolutely stay at any of her properties again!!

A perfect vacation rental

We had a wonderful time at the Lighthouse. It was perfect for our family and our boys loved the fun of staying in a light house. Having our own pool was great when we wanted some relaxing time off the beach and enjoyed beautiful sunset views from the look out at the top. The house had everything we needed including beach gear and kitchen items. Valerie was wonderful to work with; very responsive to anything we needed. We loved our stay at the Lighthouse and hope to return again!

Fantastic - we would not hesitate to book again!

Six of us (three generations) stayed here during a hot February week and found The Lighthouse to be ideal and quite stunning - so much so that my two young ones were ready to explore every nook and cranny of the building after 17 hours of travel! We met Valerie twice, she was helpful, enthusiastic and keen to ensure that our holiday went to plan - it did. Great location - huge, unspoiled beach 5 mins walk; bars / shops 10 mins walk; supermarket 3 mins drive; Tampa International 75 mins drive (on a clear run) and so much to do in the area you simply cannot do everything. If we ever head back to Anna Maria Island then we will look to rent The Lighthouse again.

An outstanding property, will definitely return.

This is a stunning and unique property to be enjoyed at leisure. The breath-taking view from the top of the lighthouse is a pleasure to be shared with family and friends. The layout of the property demonstrates a keen understanding of the use space as the rooms are generous in size with all needs and wants catered for . The facilities and decor are finished to a very high standard but are still relaxed enough to feel homely. The location was ideal to easily access beach and restaurants nearby. The owner was very knowledgable of where to eat, shop and visit which was extremely helpful for our short stay. I would strongly recommend this property and will definitely be back. We feel honoured to have shared Anna Maria Island whilst staying at the wonderful, memorable Lighthouse.

Absolutely fabulous!

This property is absolutely 5 stars! I rented this property for my 88 year old mother so that she could get out of the Wisconsin cold for 2 months. At her age, I was worried about her being all alone. Enter the owner Val.. she was absolutely instrumental in providing a phenomenal stay for my mother. She checked on her daily, made her lattes, took her to mass when she didn't have a ride and even brought her salmon. My mother said the trip was fantastic and she attributed it to the wonderful beach home and especially VAL! I would highly recommend the property! O K house for last minute rental, no way to adjust thermostat .

Thermostat set so you can't adjust. Also security deposit is being withheld due to an issue with dining room table which we noticed when we arrived. Owner not very responsive to emails after departure when acquiring about security deposit.

Awesome

I set this reservation up about 1 month prior after my daughter found the house. We have been going to Anna Maria for sometime. Valarie was so helpful and walked me through everything. We were able to get in the house by 1pm on our arrival date and she stopped by to make sure everything was okay and make sure that if we needed anything that we could get a hold of her. The beach was just two blocks away and a very easy walk, the fireworks from there were awesome. The is a trolley stop just outside the house so it is very to get around. The kitchen was immaculate with everything you would need. She had beach chairs and a beach cart so it made it very easy. The pool was very refreshing. This house will definitely be on my list again to stay at. Of all the house we have stayed at, it had some of the best features. Thanks Val for everything.

Look no further, this is the place for you.

The Lighthouse in Holmes Beach is a large comfortable interesting home with everything you may need for your vacation. The beds were excellent! It was a very easy walk to the beach and there was also parking available there if you prefer to drive. The owner of the home was wonderful to work with and we would happily rent here again. No need to look further, this is the place!

Had an enjoyable stay at The Lighthouse

We enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse more than we could ever express. Seabreeze management was quick to respond to any questions and were so happy to help at any moment. We enjoyed the pool every day, as well as the amazing view standing atop the lighthouse balcony. This was an unforgettable experience. Clean house, aesthetic architecture and design, wonderful amenities, close proximity to the beach, amazing management... 10/10 stars in the heart of Anna Maria Island!

Fun and Kitschy Property!

The Lighthouse is fun and kitschy with model boats and JFK memorabilia throughout, my 3 year old son loved it and the small heated pool. It was equipped with everything needed. Overall, we did enjoy our time.

One-of-a-kind property on AMI!

The Lighthouse is a fabulous, one-of-a-kind property on AMI. It is meticulously decorated with nautical and American memorabilia from top to bottom, and on the outside as well. From the furniture to the pictures, from the architecture to the models and knickknacks, no detail is too small. The house is spacious, well laid out, and has a lighthouse tower deck with wonderful views. Plenty of pool gear, plenty of dishes and kitchen space, ample rooms for working, dining watching movies, etc. It is a comfy home away from home, and The owners are terrific.

This was our 5th trip to AMI, we just love it here. This house was 1000% as described and Valerie was AMAZING with her communication. The only thing I would make a bit more clear is that Palm Blvd during our week was very busy with traffic. While not a huge deal, it was rather noisy from the vehicle traffic. Aside from that, the house was really perfect and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. Oh, the pool and the pool deck area, fantastic!!!! -The Gordon Family

The Lighthouse

Pros: 1) short walk to the beach-7 minutes, 2) very nice availability of beach toys, bikes, beach chairs, 3) nice and clean small pool in the front of the house (about 7’ x 13’), 4) updated kitchen and flooring on the first floor 5) patriotic theme (USA and British Flags, John F Kennedy memorabilia on first floor) Cons: 1) Worn and dirty carpeting on the winding stairs going to second floor bedrooms (stain noticed on landing outside bedroom), 2) sofas in living room a bit worn (especially the red one), and dated accessories-furniture (tables, etc). 3) the house sits/faces the main road and unless you google where the house is located, you would never know that from the descriptive picture!(we unfortunately did not do that). For the price, the house is not up to par compared to other similarly priced rentals. Valerie the owner was responsive and attentive however.

Quaint and unique home within walking distance from everything. Loved it!

If you want a unique home stay, this is it. Touches of 60’s, American decor has a small but very nice pool, all of the amenities, beach items including towels, chairs etc to make your travel light. Everything is within walking distance but the free Trolley runs consistently. We didn’t even need to take it because we walked all of the time. We loved the beaches, Slim’s for dinner along with The Wicked Cantina. Traffic does get backed up coming on and off the island so plan accordingly. GREAT time!
