The house was clean and allowed us a great landing pad for two families. The bathrooms lacked water pressure and had some draining issues. Would also sometimes have an odor. The only cleaning supply provided was a broom and dustpan which having three under 5 and an infant, mess was inevitable. A vacuum would’ve been appreciated, or a swiffer. The door alarm to the pool was appreciated but one piece would fall off repeatedly making it sound. Also note: the pool is right along the main drag into Holmes Beach and Anna Maria. While it didn’t bother us so much, I could see how this could be frustrating for others. Our kiddos loved the pool and the sun pad. Overall, we had a great time and loved the proximity to the beach.

Perfect stay!

What an excellent property for our vacation. It is so close to the beach! We love visiting Anna Maria Island every year, and Private Palms was just what we were looking for, a beautifully updated home and very comfortable for our family. We used the kitchen daily and hung out together in the living room or the property's wading pool after days spent on the beach. The management company quickly answered our calls, and we appreciated how clean the place was when we arrived. Thank you, and we'll be back!

We really liked the house and location however both showers had issues and we communicated daily. The shower closest to the dining room had very very little water pressure, five adults using the other shower (by the living room) meant it didn’t drain properly (was fine if used less which wasn’t an option due to the other shower pressure issue). We were told daily that a shower head was coming, it never did. We were literally a block from an ace hardware and would’ve paid to fix it ourselves if the manager had been honest and said it wasn’t going to be addressed. Won’t use this organization next time :( we’ve been coming to this part of Florida for almost 50 years, first bad experience.
