We enjoyed our stay here - the house was spotlessly clean, and the yard was safe for our 2 small dogs, although larger dogs might be able to jump the 3 foot-high back fence section. Jeff was always available and helpful, but I felt I couldn't give it 5 stars for several reasons.
This part of Hot Springs is economically depressed, and it shows. The 1 mile walk to the Bath House row takes you by run-down houses, old cars, broken sidewalks, and knee high weeds. However, the people in the neighborhood were friendly, and we never felt unsafe.
The house itself was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had a modern kitchen with everything you could want. The rest of the house felt like we were staying in my grandfather's place - too much furniture with funky/questionable old pictures and paintings.
Although you can't change the neighborhood, with a little redecorating - maybe a woman's touch? - this could be a really great place! Then it would deserve a 5 star review.
