“The room was very clean and welcoming. The staff were very attentive to our needs, and very helpful with questions. We did have an ocean view which was a plus with a balcony. Will definitely be back again. ”

“There was a lot nearby. Location was in an okay place but it felt very sketchy because of lack of lighting in certain areas while parking. Checking in was a weird experience and I could barely hear the person behind the glass divider. Okay on price but the floors were noticabley not very clean so shoes were important in the rooms.”

“For the price, you cannot beat this place. Short walk to sunset beach and right next door to an awesome surf shop. Really liked the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking right in front of the building. I plan on returning. ”

“Not saying I wouldn’t stay there again but there’s a few things you should know if your planning on staying here, the air conditioning didn’t work, there was dried liquids on the floor that never got cleaned, along with dirty hand towels, but I’ve stayed in much worse, the parking was great! They had a nice elevator witch made carrying our luggage to the room easy, all in all keep your windows open if you plan on staying here because the room gets extremely hot.”

“The room we reserved was filthy and looked like nothing Expedia showed on-line. We checked out the next day and reserved at Residence Inn. Another customer in front of us in line also cancelled their reservations. The staff was pleasant the only good thing about this place.”

“Perfect place close to the beach, just cross the street and walk thirty steps past a couple apartments and you’re there. So close that if u need to go to the bathroom it’ll take u 2 minutes to walk. The hotel is very clean and equipped w a refrigerator and microwave. They have beach towels and boogey boards you can use for free! The people are super nice! The place does seem a little old but if u want the beautiful newport beach, this is the place!”

“We stay here annually. Location is convenient, probably the main reason to book here. Rooms are comfortable. Carpet in the halls could use a cleaning and the AC was a little noisy this year but those are my only real complaints. For first timers, parking is tight so plan for smaller rental vehicle to prevent struggles.”
