"My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. "

"The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder. "This is a really cute little flat. It had everything we needed. One bedroom and a really nice modern bathroom. The kitchenette was well stocked and the hosts stocked the fridge with food for our first breakfast. We drove to the Tesco, but we could have walked. The yard is well kept and the neighbour is very friendly. We loved our stay here. It is beneficial if you have a car. They do have a convenient parking spot and driveway."

"The bathroom is very good, great design, everything has been thought of, but the sleeping area wasn’t great, it was so small, most of it is taken up by the huge bed frame and clunky faux marble table. We had a really long walk to our room with no lifts There was a wedding on Saturday and our room was literally next to the party! Roof top terrace is literally a terrace, you have to buy your very expensive drink from the bar and carry it yourself up to the roof terrace. Breakfast needs more variety Staff were very attentive and helpful and the location is fantastic. However it’s not worth the amount we spent per night"

"Read the reviews before we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at over £1000, was skeptical about the buffet breakfast, room not being cleaned and the pool being closed, had stayed at another village hotel recently and had a great experience. The breakfast was ok, but could have been more choice and a bit better, the rooms were refreshed on our request, surprisingly the pool was closed for our entire stay, which was one the main reasons we booked this hotel, for the kids. The gym was nice. We paid a premium to stay in August, but not worth more than £150 per night in my opinion. Inc breakfast Hermine on reception was very nice."
