“Our host, Wendy, was Amazing! Answered our phone calls and quick text responses to all questions day or night. She went over and above giving us information, suggestions and local knowledge, not only about Mansfield but other cities near by. The house has been renovated and there are multiple upgrades in every room. Kitchen is clean, beautiful and stocked with all the necessities for an extended stay. We had four adults and accommodations were perfect! There are two other rooms and a sofa bed if……

“We had a non-smoking room, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes. I’m not sure where the smell was coming from — maybe someone had smoked in the room before us and the smell hadn’t gone away, or maybe it was coming from the neighbors. But as a non-smoker, it was really unpleasant for me, and I’m very sensitive to that smell.”

“There isn't many places to stay in Jackson. This place was a great location as you were so close to the downtown area. It did need some updating and better cleaning. We were disappointed that the pool was out of order. If you are looking for something that is just a place to stay, this isn't too bad. We were in town most of the time. Jackson is a cute town and we enjoyed all the Stranger things locations!”

“Checked in and immediately noticed roaches. Not water bugs like you would find at a lake, but German cockroaches. Not just big ones but babies which means there’s a ton. The Wi-Fi never worked, the shower never turned off literally ran hot water 24 hours a day. The other shower door does not close completely and you had to hold it closed while showering. The dining table is not for using. It is so poorly put together. I was afraid to set my backpack on it. The house exterior was filthy with……

“We had a lovely time in this cozy lake house! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the setting was peaceful. We enjoyed meeting friendly neighbors and hope to return again soon! Our host was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. I can't think of anything that would have made this a better experience for our family!”

“There are so many great things to say about Regal Cottage.It gives Resort Feel on the Lake The Cottage was very neat and CLEAN and smelled amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked, nice quality towels in the bathroom, blankets for guests.The water views from the open floor plan and screened in porch makes this rental my favorite.Plenty of seating in the house & outside, great for family, friends & kids. After I refused, he had 1 space heater sent to the house via his cleaner. Everyone had to sleep in the same room to stay warm. Lows during our stay were in the teens at night. ”
