「A very pleasant stay. Mary was lovely, and so was the service in the restaurant. The meal lacked seasoning and sauce, and the fries were undercooked. The next morning at breakfast, the brown bread was missing. It's a shame, but it doesn't spoil the overall impression too much.」

The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. Great work by the hotel owners - shows you can run an historic hotel in a great location but still make it affordable to all visitors」

「Another nice stay, although only one night. Staff really friendly and helpful, especially the young man who checked us in and lady who took our order at breakfast. Room clean and comfortable with lovely view of pier and beach. Hospitality tray with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Breakfast really nice, plenty of choice. It was a really hot night and air conditioning wasn’t working, however a small tower fan had been put in room, but didn’t really cool it down! Other than that good...

「Sehr guter Stopp etwas außerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind über dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die Handtücher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hätte. Ich komme wieder. 」
