“Good location, close to the main road but just far enough away to avoid most of the noise. Onsite community has great amenities - pool, grills and rinse station. Easily walkable to restaurants and shops. Killer view with the lanai. The unit came with activity gear that covers most of what you will want to do on the island. Host was very responsive and provided detailed instructions. Now the downsides, the unit especially the bathroom needs quite a bit of TLC. There was also a bit of an ant……

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
