"The Pono Kai resort was a great place to stay. The condo had everything we needed, including a cooler for our day trips. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The paved path along the ocean was nice for a morning stroll. There are walkable places to dine. The lanai offered amazing sunrises. The resort property is very well maintained. It was an easy drive from the airport. We would stay here again."

"The property is beautiful and the area was right in the center of all shops, restaurants n beaches. The view was wonderful on the balcony. The ac in condo worked perfectly. Only problem we encountered was ants in sink and around sink area. Host was quick with check in details and other helpful information of area. All in all it was a perfect stay. "We had an issue with the TV and when we called the front desk we were told they do not handle problems as it is rented through VRBO. We were told to contact VRBO. No instructions on where to leave the key at checkout. We left it on a counter and the next day we got a text stating the cleaner couldn't get in as the key wasn't in the lockbox. The cleaner should have a key and where to leave the key should be in the instructions if that is an issue for them.Beautiful ocean view and wonderful wave sounds ."
