「We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding at Adaland Mansion. This was a convenient location for traveling to and from the event. The house was beautifully decorated and very roomy for a large family. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors but there was lots of room for outdoor sitting and grilling. Sherry is an exceptionally good host. I would recommend the riverfront home to anyone traveling to that area.」

「We had a great 4 day break and were looking for somewhere quiet compared to most Memorial Day lake locations. The house is right on the river. THe levels were low so it was more thans afe with supervision for our 4 kids ages 4-9 out there. We tubed and kayaked down the river. Unfortunately, water levels were too low for us to get the canoes out but the property has them as well for a very modest watercraft fee ($75) that covers the entire stay. The owner provided a lot of little nice touches, with premade bags for smores, snacks, packaged toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. The area is beautiful and has lots of deer to watch. My family had plenty of room to gather and visit as we all came in from separate states to celebrate my recently passed Mother's life. This was a great property to stay at while in Buckhannon. 「This was a very charming beautiful old house. Perfect weekend stay for us and our fur babies. Thank you for allowing them! Perfect little fenced in back yard for them to run around a bit. Nice comfortable bed for us. Everything was wonderful. Could use a bit brighter lights for overhead but loved all of the soft lamps and decorations. Everything we needed for our weekend get away.」
